Simple Session: 4 weeks Miss A, skin unretouched

Newborn photographer Perth studio Ellenbrook Simple Session: 4 weeks Miss A, skin unretouched Linda Hewell Maternity & Newborn Photography

I do try and discuss editing needs during the session if possible as it makes it much easier for me to understand clients own personal needs. Quite often parents don’t really know any differences between skin edits. Some prefer a much more natural approach preferring to leave bubs skin as is, while others prefer a more polished retouched look and some prefer to only remove very noticeable flakes, spots etc. Even my fully retouched skin edits still leave some of those tiny little flakes or spots so as not to wipe out the natural skin texture.

I thought it may be helpful to showcase galleries that have had skin cleanup done and ones without so parents can decide for themselves which kind of skin retouching they prefer. This sweetie is all natural

It has been such an incredible journey capturing memories for this beautiful family over the years. Each of these sweet sisters first came to me as tiny newborns, and it feels like just yesterday I was photographing their cutest little fingers and toes. Now, seeing how much they’ve grown and how much their own personalities have developed is rather exciting. Watching siblings grow together is one of the most special parts of what I do, and being able to document these milestones for families is what I love most about my work

If you’re expecting or recently welcomed a little one, I’d love to create timeless memories for your family, too! Visit my pricing page for all the details and to book your session. Booking your session as soon as possible after birth gives you the best chance of being able to get a session spot within the first 3 weeks if that’s what you are hoping for as I can book out quite quickly, my calendar is very unpredictable
