This sweet guy was amazing to have in the studio. At 10 weeks old, neither myself or his parents would think he would end up falling asleep. We were all wrong, after he had his family shots with his parents, he decided it was time for a nap. And then he literally slept for most of the session, waking up very briefly here and there for a few awake shots, then straight back to sleep! His Mum did say he was up most of the night the night before. He was so tired, he had the perfect “newborn” session, allowing me to pose him.
His Mum had sent me some inspiration photos before they came to their Simple session and one of them was a space theme with a bubba “in space”. I did my own take on it, luckily I had some gold stars that I use as part of a cake smash setup and also had a white balloon floating around, also from a cake smash session that we used as the moon. Its so cute, I love it.
I definitely don’t expect to get a full range of sleepy newborn poses for older babies. If you would like some sleepy shots for your older newborn, maybe keep them up all night long the night before your session hehe (just kidding)
