Peek-a-boo! It’s little Mr L, 4 weeks old and visiting me for his newborn photography session. I always feel extra connected when I’ve already photographed Mum during her maternity session. It’s like I already know these little ones before they even arrive!
For this session, I kept his skin completely natural, no retouching at all at Mum’s request. Those tiny newborn features, soft peach fuzz, little rolls, and yes, even the spotty, blotchy skin, are all part of who they are. While some parents love the idea of smoothing everything out, many absolutely treasure capturing their baby’s unretouched newborn skin.
