Meet stunning Mr A, at 3.5 weeks, he was perfection during his Simple newborn photo session. He settled into all of his poses quite nicely, although he wasn’t very keen to be woken up at the end for awake shots. I do love to try and get both awake and asleep during a baby’s session. Depending on each baby, we may get more awake, or more asleep, or an equal amount of both. This little guy though, definitely preferred his sleep! 🙂
I can include a few more parent pose variety in the Simple session. At approximately 2 hours long, there is enough time for parent/family photos and my usual baby poses which consist of 1 or 2 props and 2 or 3 backdrop changes. I’ve been doing this for just over 17 years now so I’ve figured out my own workflow which I can easily transition from one pose or setup to the other while disturbing baby as little as possible. Of course some babys wake up at the slightest touch. Not this little man though! 🙂
