Pretty Miss R! She loved her pre smash photo session but not so much the cake part (which 90% of babies are not keen). The bath brought her mood up for a while, then she decided to be done 😀💕
Miss R’s 1st birthday session is so very typical of this type of shoot. I spend a good chunk of time making sure I do my best to capture some smiles and happy moments before the cake is brought out, as way too often they lose interest big time! Sometime never actually recovering.
Bath time, however I find most babies do love this part. Being in water and splishing and splashing all over the place is so much fun
I really do love cake smash sessions, they are absolutely way more unpredictable than newborns but no matter what mood they come in, I just love their own little indivual personalities.
